201 Beau Noriss: Latrodectus hesprus ( one of the Black widow species)all are poisonous. call exterminator!!! Though it most likely came in on a shipment from Africa and should not survive the winter I do advise calling an exterminator as you have a child on the way.

211 Dianne: What you have is a Hobo Spider. They are in the Recluse family and should be killed. Yes they are poisonous!!! They are often mistaken for Wolf Spiders.
