Paul Smith with Leo’s Pest Control told News 5 in the past few weeks he’s had about twice as many pest calls than the same time in years past.”You can expect to see ants, any kind of flying insect, or all the spring bugs you’d expect to see out; they’re out now,” Smith said.Smith said that’s because typically frigid months like December and January were milder and may not have killed off as much of the insect population as usual.
